The game was goalless through 90 minutes and the first period of extra time before Ferran Torres struck in the 106th. Argentina played extra time with ten men after Enzo Fernández was shown a second yellow in the 90+2 for a reckless challenge on Pau Cubarsí. Emiliano Martínez's saves kept Argentina alive for long stretches.
